Regardless of your signalling knowledge prior to the training!
High Capacity Signalling is a mega trend for passenger railways in growing cities, because the existing conventional signalling has capacity limitations which cannot be improved further with the same type of signalling system.
High Capacity Signalling is more than just another signalling technology that can be left to the railway’s signalling department to deal with. The entire railway organisation has to transform for operations at higher capacity, and therefore railway employees who previously never needed to know anything about signalling are now required to understand at least the basics of High Capacity Signalling as the enabling technology for a “high capacity railway”.
Ignoring this new requirement may put your further career at risk, because the biggest threat is the one you did not expect.
If you feel underprepared for this coming change of “your” railway, arguably the biggest change in your entire career thus far, this training is just perfect for you. And this is regardless of how much you already know about signalling. Even if your experience with signalling trainings is that they mostly “went over your head”, you will understand this one, all of it, promised.
This training builds from the ground up and is therefore equally suitable for students with no, little, decent or significant signalling knowledge. The experience of my trainings over the last decade has proven that the concept works, even including for people that never worked in railways before but were just interested in learning something new.
Things you will learn during this High Capacity Signalling Blueprint training include:
* What is High Capacity Signalling, step by step
* Important definitions around capacity
* Characteristics and limitations of conventional signalling systems
* How High Capacity Signalling can overcome those limitations
* The basics of CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control) technology
* The meaning of all acronyms used in this training (and which ones to remember)
* “Frameworks” that help memorising important concepts of this training
* What features of CBTC make it the “gold standard” for High Capacity Signalling
* The basics of ETCS (European Train Control System) technology
* Which variety of ETCS can provide High Capacity Signalling
* When to prefer which of those two technologies
* Invaluable instructions how to apply either CBTC or ETCS for a high capacity outcome
* How to implement High Capacity Signalling without shutting down the railway
and much more, just trust the training process of the most experienced trainer in this field, worldwide.
This High Capacity Signalling Blueprint training consists of twenty video lessons and six guiding videos with over eight hours of top-quality content, four knowledge checks and a downloadable workbook with exercises. It is the only training in the world that offers such a comprehensive and targeted education on High Capacity Signalling, whether you intend using CBTC or enhanced ETCS varieties for implementation. Hands down your best choice to learn about the future of city passenger railways.
During and after your training for a guaranteed period of 12 months from purchasing the training, you can email questions on the course content to me which I will answer personally in due course, which I believe is a unique service in the signalling training industry.
If you are on any scheme for Continued Professional Development (CPD), this training will be eligible for seven hours of CPD. Upon completion of all 26 training videos and four knowledge checks, and marking them all as complete, you will receive a course certificate. And don’t worry, you will still have access to the training videos after you have marked them as completed.
Convinced? Then take action and enrol now so that you are prepared for what is coming.
(More questions? Email me to Training@docfrank.com.au and we will address those for you.)
I look very much forward to helping you future-proofing your railway career by knowing the emerging technology transforming the railway for higher capacity and better performance. See you inside.
Keep it simple (that's the mantra for my trainings),

You start with watching the introduction video which outlines the content of your training. Your next step is downloading your course workbook which includes tasks and information that accompany your journey through the training. A third initial step is for you to join the online study group for networking and posting questions.
You will then watch the video lessons in the sequence provided, ensuring that your knowledge is properly built up and developed in the intended order and structure.
Guidance videos will lead you forward through the training, making sure you remain motivated and on the right path towards your learning success.
After each of the four training modules there will be a knowledge check that helps you verifying your learning success in the module you just completed.
In case you have questions during the course you can easily email them to training@docfrank.com.au. That same email is also there for any feedback on the training you want to share with me, good or less good. I take feedback very serious as I always aim at improving and optimising my training offer.
Upon your completion of the training (that means you have marked all lessons as complete) you will receive a course certificate.
Should you participate in a program for Continued Personal Development (CPD), you can claim seven (7) hours for this training.
